The objective of this study was to evaluate chloroplast pigments and photochemical efficiency West Indian cherry cv. BRS 366 Jaburu as a function irrigation water salinity potassium-phosphorus fertilization combinations in the second year cultivation. experiment carried out protected environment Campina Grande, Brazil. Treatments were distributed randomized blocks, 5 × 4 factorial scheme, corresponding five levels electrical conductivity ECw (0.6, 1.4, 2.2, 3.0 3.8 dS m-1) four (100/100, 85/85, 60/60 45/45% K2O/P2O5 recommendation for cultivation 200 g K2O 120 P2O5 per plant year) with three replicates. Irrigation saline waters hampered biosynthesis Water from 2.6 m-1 reduced maximum fluorescence, variable quantum photosystem II plants Jaburu. Fertilization 85/85% promotes an increase synthesis chlorophylls b, respectively, first production cycles Supply promoted fluorescence subjected salinities 0.6, cycle initial regardless level cherry.
